Giving Thanks For An “Event”ful Year

With Thanksgiving this week, it’s helpful to not only look at the good things that we have to look forward to but also the good things that have happened to us until this moment. Here at the Boston Winery, we want to bring you back to some of the greatest times we’ve shared together throughout the year.

Let’s get started!

Wine & Swine Was A Wonderful Time:

Who says Wilbur can’t enjoy a little vino?

Who says Wilbur can’t enjoy a little vino?

On October 22nd, we hosted our Swine and Wine pairing where we featured our best Boston Winery wines paired with savory pork dishes like crispy pork belly and pork ribs with polenta.

An annual tradition, it’s always a pairing that gets wine and pork lovers alike squealing for joy! The combination of sweet and savory flavors creates a distinctive experience that nothing can compare to.

We loved sharing the opportunity to enjoy some good food, great wines, and pig out with you, our Boston Winery family.

When Ravioli Was All The Rave:

Wine and Ravioli: tale as old as time…

Wine and Ravioli: tale as old as time…

In our eyes, a great wine pairing is one of the greatest things you can find—and ravioli and wine is like striking gold! This popular tasting featured fall-flavored ravioli crafted by Venezia’s Chef Gianni himself and paired with 5 of our hand-picked bottles. It ended up being so popular in fact that we had not one, not two...but three pairings!

Infused with fall flavors like walnut and pear stuffed with a gorgonzola sauce alongside a decadent short rib stuffed with mushroom sauce, to say it was exquisite would be an understatement. We loved coming together with you all to celebrate this tasty union of ravioli and wine.

2020’s Sweetest Pairing:

What’s sweeter than the combination of wine, donuts, and friends?

Donuts and wine? Few things sound so sweet, and few things can compare to the incredible time we had pairing up with Union Square Donuts to bring you the crave-iest wine pairing we’ve ever done: Union Square’s decadent donuts with Boston Winery’s world-class wine.

We paired some of your favorite wines with half a dozen of Union Square’s most mouth-watering donuts, including Funfetti, Toasted Coconut, and Brown Butter Hazelnut Crunch! It was a wonderful way to sprinkle in some fun and a great source of sweet, sweet memories.

When We Celebrated Turkey & Togetherness:

Gobble ‘til you wobble, we did!

Gobble ‘til you wobble, we did!

More recently, we came together to celebrate the togetherness that connects us and the classic fall flavors that we enjoy the most.

We paired our world-class wines with fall favorites such as Sweet Potato Casserole topped with Vermont maple syrup and a pecan crust, Turkey wrapped with Smoked Turkey Bacon with cranberry sauce, and of course, homemade Sage and Onion Stuffing prepared by Chef Gianni among others.

Just like after a fine multi-course Turkey Day dinner, we all left the tasting full—not only of food—but of happiness, joy, and gratitude for having shared our time together.

It’s just not Turkey Day without some wine from Boston Winery!

The events that we’ve shared throughout the year have been extraordinary, but one of the things we are most grateful for is the incredible bond we have with Venezia Restaurant next door.

We’ve teamed up on dozens and dozens of events and are integral to each other’s success, as their great food helps bring out the best in our great wine! And what better way to celebrate our great relationships than by sharing the tastes of the season with you!

We’ve put together a scrumptious hand-picked Thanksgiving wine package that’s overflowing with fall flavors. This way, no matter whether you’re staying home or safely celebrating your loved ones you can “fall” in love with the most wonderful wines we have to offer from the comfort of your home.

And best of all, if you order your Thanksgiving Wine package today, you can pick it up in time for Turkey Day!
