With the help of our friends at Kim Crawford Wines, here are 5 easy ways you can turn your favorite rosé into a sweet summer cocktail:

Frosé Cocktail

Let’s start with a simple way to take a rosé to the next level—by putting it on ice. Two days before serving, pour your pink wine into a 9” x 13” pan or several ice cube trays and freeze, stirring occasionally if you use the pan. Once it is frozen solid, blend the frozen wine until it is smooth using a blender. You can either serve this delicious frozen treat now or freeze it for later for up to 1 week before enjoying it.

Rosé-jito:

Ingredients: 4 sprigs of fresh mint, 2 oz. agave syrup or simple syrup, 3 oz. fresh lime juice, 20 oz. of rosé, 10 oz grapefruit-flavored soda water

This next one is quite refreshing! In a large pitcher, start by pressing the sprigs of mint and syrup against the side of the pitcher with a muddler. This helps to release the flavors of the mint so that they bind with the alcohol of the rosé better. Next, you’ll top this minty mixture with lime juice, grapefruit soda water, and your favorite rosé and mix them all up. Once thoroughly blended, serve it over ice and garnish the mimosa with grapefruit slices.

Grapefruit Frosé:

Ingredients: ½ cup water, ½ cup sugar, 1 Tbsp grapefruit zest, 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary, juice of 4 pink grapefruits, 1 bottle of rosé, rosemary sprigs and grapefruit wedges to garnish

This next frosé is more than good...it’s grape! Begin by bringing sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan, simmering for 10 minutes. Next, add the grapefruit zest and rosemary, cover the saucepan and let the ingredients infuse for one hour. After this, mix in your grapefruit juice and favorite rosé, straining them through a fine sieve. Lastly, freeze the cocktail, mixing every few hours until solid and serve garnished with rosemary and grapefruit wedges.

Rosé Mimosa:

Ingredients: ¼ cup and 2 Tbsp sugar, ¼ cup and 2 Tbsp water, 1 bottle of rosé, ½ bottle Ruffino Prosecco, 8 rosemary sprigs to garnish

When the sun burns bright, your beverages should stay bubbly. You can start making this frosty, mouth-watering Mimosa by bringing sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan. Continue by simmering for 5 minutes until dissolved before cooling and mixing in your preferred rosé. Then, freeze the mixture in a loaf pan, breaking it up occasionally until it is frozen solid. Scoop your Mimosa into glasses, pour over Prosecco, and garnish your Rosé Mimosa with rosemary or fresh basil and serve immediately.

Just Brachetto Lit” Cocktail:

Ingredients: 1 bottle of Brachetto, 1 oz. of Citrus Vodka, fresh lime

This last summer cocktail comes straight from The Boston Winery as a favorite of our Director of Operations, Ralph Bruno. If you’re looking to cool down while you “turn up”, start by pouring your favorite Boston Winery Brachetto over ice. Next, add 1 oz. of Citrus Vodka, and round it off with a slice of lime.

We hope you enjoyed this creative list of cool-down cocktails to beat the heat this summer and enjoy responsibly.
